- Minimum starting Hourly Rate $24.00
- Responsible for laying out, fabricating and installing metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkheads, frames, foundations, etc. Align and tracks welds structural parts
- Preserves the hull and components by sealing the submarines with chemicals and paints to prevent corrosion and protect against the accumulation of marine life
- Laying out & shooting studs, gluing & installing tiles & anti-sweat hardboard
- Responsible for fusing materials together with a wide range of welding processes
- Works on the submarine doing assembly and shipboard mechanical work that takes place in the shipyard.
- Installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems that carry liquids and gases under varying pressures
- Responsible for the electrical wiring of the machines and related equipment supporting many miles of cable in the submarines
- Responsible for laying out, fabrication, assembly, and installation of all light gage metalwork which includes air-conditioned ductwork, lockers, cabinets, prefabricated bulkheads, doors and furniture

- Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and peers
Qualifications
Required:
- High school senior and graduating by August of 2026
- US Citizen Available to train and work on any shift
- Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and in extreme weather conditions as required
- Possess your own basic hand tools
- Vocational HS
