We seek an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to support our design and manufacturing operations.
As an Advanced Quality Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal design teams, and manufacturing teams to ensure all products meet aerospace quality and reliability standards.
Responsibilities include addressing quality-related inquiries, providing project status updates, and facilitating clear communication with customers regarding milestones, standards, and issue resolution. Ensuring compliance with industry standards to AS9100, preparing quality metrics reports, conducting root cause analysis for non-conformances, coordinating team meetings, preparing for audits, and evaluating risks. Leadership responsibilities encompass acting as a peer to program management, managing customer feedback, conducting contract requirements reviews, preparing Quality assessment reports, performing surveillance activities, ensuring thorough peer reviews, participating in Configuration Control Board activities, and managing program QA costs.

What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Fully proficient knowledge of engineering (i.e., software, electrical, systems, etc.) methodologies, tools, and standards
- Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
- Fully proficient knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques

Combined Salary Range
USD $103,254.00 - USD $114,547.00 /Yr.
