Position Summary
As Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Jet Aviation, you will be working as part of a dedicated maintenance team and will be responsible for successfully carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation procedures and aviation regulations. You will be operating under the Jet Aviation Part 145 approval, the Jet Aviation Health and Safety policy, customer requests and other airworthiness requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and company procedures.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and components of the aircraft under the direction of the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
- Perform inspections, servicing, and replacement of parts, and carry out necessary repairs. Executes inspections, modifications, maintenance tasks, repairs within trade skills while ensuring safety and product quality on aircrafts.
- Performs installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on airplanes using one or more trade skills.
- Record all maintenance activities accurately and timely in the maintenance management system, including Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of work executed on the aircraft and Preparing and maintaining records of completed maintenance repair work.
- Assist in conducting functional checks and tests of aircraft systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
- Work closely with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures.
- Other duties as may be required from time-to-time in order to support operational and business success.
Minimum Requirements
- Mechanical / technical knowledge within an industrial environment, preferably within aviation
- Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory and safety requirements performing aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
- Diploma / Foundation Degree in Aircraft Engineering
- PC literate with MS packages.

Work Environment
The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
