Overview

The CIO Metrics Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the overall health, performance, and risk posture of the companys IT networks, systems, and platforms. This role provides data-driven insights that enable executive decision-making, particularly around capital investment and prioritization. The analyst will work closely with IT leadership, finance, and enterprise stakeholders to translate technical performance into clear, actionable business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain KPIs that measure the health, availability, performance, security, and resilience of IT networks and enterprise systems utilizing Power BI.
  • Design Power BI dashboards and reporting that clearly communicate system health, trends, and risks to CIO-level and executive audiences
  • Analyze system performance data to identify gaps, degradation, or emerging risks across infrastructure, applications, and platforms
  • Support capital planning and prioritization by linking IT health metrics to investment needs, risk mitigation, and business impact
  • Partner with IT leaders to define measurable outcomes for infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system modernization initiatives
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to guide technology investment decisions and sequencing
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of metrics across IT domains (network, systems, applications, cloud, security)
  • Track progress and ROI of approved capital initiatives against defined KPIs
  • Establish standards and governance for IT metrics, reporting cadence, and data quality
  • Support ad hoc analysis and executive-level presentations related to IT performance and capital planning


Responsibilities

  • Ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Finance
  • 1+ years of experience in finance, contracts & estimating, IT analytics, business analytics, technology operations, or a similar role
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting

Preferred:

  • Preferred understanding of enterprise IT environments, including networks, infrastructure, applications, and systems or other relevant experience
