Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Cyber Compliance Manager to join our team supporting a large Cloud Services government contract and managing our customer's cybersecurity compliance in McLean, VA.

HOW A CYBER COMPLIANCE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Oversees the architecture, engineering, and operations/maintenance of an environment, including software/hardware license management and serves as team manager.
  • Manages and reports on the team's activities, milestones, etc
  • Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.
  • Maintains the Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program and related artifacts for the Environment from an ISSM/ISSO perspective (Customer is official ISSM)
  • As part of ConMon, ensures all related documentation, especially the SSP and appendices, are updated and maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Communicates, collaborates, and coordinates with the Customer as outlined in the shared and inherited security controls and documentation.
  • Works with the engineers to maintain the procedures, artifacts, and playbooks around core ConMon controls for change management, vulnerability management, security alert monitoring, incident response, etc
  • Prepares and leads the annual security attestation.
  • Assesses the system and business process architectures currently in place and works with staff to recommend improvements.
  • Prepares and presents test plan, technical presentations, and analyst briefings, as applicable.
  • Identifies Customer requirements, analyzes alternatives, and conducts product recommendations related to software, platform, and network configurations.
  • Develops techniques and procedures for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits.
  • Evaluates and oversees testing of hardware, firmware, and software for possible impact on system security, i.e., security impact analyses.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Education/Experience: BA/BS or equivalent, Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, OR additional year's experience in lieu of degree
  • Year's Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting US government systems, emphasis on DOD


  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience in evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, plans, and their respective evidence, in alignment with cybersecurity standards and controls.
    • Experience in maintaining a Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program
    • Experience preparing for and leading security attestations.
    • Experience evaluating and assessing/testing of hardware, firmware, and software for impact on security systems
    • At least 5 years experience leading a team
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Ability to present technical updates to leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to consult with customers to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and cyber needs
  • Location: McLean, VA - onsite at customer location


DESIRED SKILLS:
  • CISSP, or equivalent certification.
  • Certifications that meet applicable 8140 compliance
  • Experience in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and related tools

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
