Develops management plans in accordance with applicable contract requirements, commercial standards, and established procedures. Performs ILS documentation/product quality assurance reviews/edits for both format and technical content to ensure compliance with contract/purchase order requirements. Develops ILS documentation tracking systems in accordance with applicable contract requirements. Assists ILS personnel in the performance of their essential functions and principal responsibilities.


  • Research and develop management plans in accordance with provided standards and procedures with limited supervision
  • Research and develop ILS documentation tracking style in accordance with provided standards and procedures with limited supervision
  • Provide direction to the ILS personnel in the research and development of supplier data review documentation and comment letters
  • Develop ILS product delivery milestone schedules to meet contract delivery requirements
  • Review subcontractor/vendor provided documentation for technical content and format, and prepare detailed comment letters with limited supervision
  • Develop LSI information and input into Merlin
  • Direct the assignment of tasks as necessary to support adherence to established milestone schedules
  • Train new Provisioners and Logistics Engineers in data research, development, and preparation
  • Perform quality checks on all products created in the department before they are submitted to the customer
  • Assist in the development of equipment validation plans and execute those plans in accordance with the contract
  • Assist with label plate and IUID creation and inspection both in the warehouse and on-board ship
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

  • Bachelors degree preferred in an engineering related field and eight years experience in a marine engineering or Navy logistics environment. Must have excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering model, drawings, diagrams, schematics, and related documents
  • Must have experience with computer publishing and configuration software programs

  • The essential functions of this role require work in both an office and industrial setting. The role requires prolonged periods of working in a stationary position, operating a computer, computer programs, and standard office equipment necessary to perform the essential duties. The role requires perceiving information and communicating effectively with others in person, online, and on the phone. The role also requires prolonged periods of working in indoor and outdoor industrial settings. Must have the ability to safely access, navigate, and traverse the shipyard, construction areas, production areas, ships, and warehouses. Must be able to transit uneven surfaces, and be agile to move quickly to avoid hazards and respond to unexpected obstacles. Must be able to observe, detect, identify, perceive, recognize, and process information to remain alert and timely comply with all safety requirements. Must be able to move, transport, and use equipment necessary to perform the essential duties. Duties performed on ships require ascending and descending stairs and ladders, transiting on scaffolding and at heights, transiting through manholes and other narrow, confined, or congested spaces. This position requires exposure to industrial areas which contain hazardous materials, loud noise (including sirens, horns, chipping, slamming, and hammering), dust, fumes, and exposure to weather.


    PAY SCALE
    $75,800 - $143,300


    This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
