Responsibilities to Anticipate this Role
The Program Manager will be responsible for defining product strategy, leading cross-functional execution, and ensuring delivery of high- quality products that meet customer and business needs. This role provides both strategic leadership and hands-on product ownership, while also managing and developing a team
- Develop and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with organization goals.
- Translate business objectives into actionable product plans and measurable success metrics.
- Partner with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact and technical feasibility.
- Oversee lifecycle from concept through launch, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor performance and lead data driven decisions to optimize experience and outcomes.
- Directly manage, coach, and support the team.
- Provide regular feedback, performance management, and develop training.
- Foster collaboration, inclusive, high-performance team culture.
- Ensure alignment with product strategy, goals, and best practices in product/program management.
- Act as primary communication bridge between leadership and cross- functional teams.
- Ensure clarity in product/program requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Represent the product/program organization in leadership meetings, presenting updates, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Communicate decisions, progress and changes with clarity and professionalism.
- Build strong relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and executive leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, technology or program/project management strongly preferred. Other disciplines will be considered with relevant experience.
- 7-10 years in program/project management required including leading major product initiatives.
- 2+ years of experiences managing and mentoring a team.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to develop strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable results.
- PMP certification is strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of program and project management execution.
- Knowledge of EVMS and financial reporting metrics.
- Knowledge of Engineering, Logistics support, supply chain management and manufacturing processes.
