Overview
The selected Program Representative will report to the US/UK Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Material Supervisor at Shaws Cove, New London. Responsibilities include management and tracking of installation and kitted material, management of vendor manufactured material, management/assistance with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, and assisting in material-impacting resolutions with engineering, planning, and quality control.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Tracking material availability from Oracle Requisition placement through Purchase Order development, receipt, inventory, construction, and warehousing
- Assisting in the development of part numbers with Materials Management to satisfy programmatic requirements and future manufacturing/purchases
- Providing daily program status updates to management to mitigate potential impacts and to maintain program schedules
- Providing program status updates to NAVSEA, SSP, and other customers as required by management
- Interfacing with various Engineering groups to close out Engineering Reports, Change Requests, Change Notices, etc.
- Interfacing with all Planning departments, including Detail Planning, Advance Planning, Production Control, etc., to drive manufacturing and production activities, work orders, and schedules
- Interfacing with Purchasing to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders to support program schedule and to assist in vendor accountability and status
- Interfacing with Rejection Control, Receipt Inspection, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, and all other inspection departments to ensure material meets all programmatic requirements
- Assisting in the maintenance and management of the Strategic Weapons Information Transfer File (SWIFT) system
- Providing program status and execution of SWIFT system requirements and deliverables to upper management and UK MoD/NAVSEA customers as required
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with EB tools including Oracle, Artemis, PCM, ELCADD, SPARS, MRPII, Logiquest, CPC, JCALS, Teamcenter, and AMPS
- An understanding of EB business processes related to Contracts, Finance and Cost Estimation
- Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project
- Candidates should be able to interact with customers and other internal departments at all levels of supervision and management
- Knowledge of submarine design and material procurement
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience related to configuration management of supply support or related project management experience or planning
Preferred:
- Degree in Business or Finance
