Overview
- Responsible for all aspects of Provisioning Technical Documentation as required by individual shipbuilding contracts.
- Review vendor equipment drawings to determine & identify significant maintenance repair parts.
- Prepare & submit Allowance Parts Lists through the Navys ICAPS Client server for CDRL submittal to the Navys approval authority.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of work prepared and daily status
- Daily interaction with other functional areas in Integrated Logistic Support, Engineering, Procurement, Navy customer, and periodic Vendor support.
Responsibilities
- High School Diploma / GED required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years related mechanical, electrical, or other technical or trades experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the development of Provisioning Technical Documentation and the Navy Supply Support Process a plus.
- Familiarity with Navy Logistic Documentation, primarily Allowance Parts Lists and Tech Manuals is a plus.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand vendor equipment drawings, specifications, and technical instructions preferred.
- Must be detail orientated, well organized, and able to strictly adhere to schedules.
- Knowledgeable in a variety of PC / Mainframe applications (Word, Excel, Access) is preferred.
- ICAPS/WSF/Deck Plate/WEBFLIS or other Navy Logistic experience a plus.
- Technical background with strong mechanical aptitude required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, due to frequent interfacing with Navy representatives and internal organizations.
- Ability to work in a close team environment and coordinate multiple priorities with little supervision required.
