Overview
- Review, analyze, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions in support of defense-related contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and other agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal acquisition requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific clauses
- Identify, assess, and communicate contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies to legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Serve as a subject matter expert on contract terms interpretation, flow-down requirements, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with legal counsel and procurement
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting defense contracts and advise leadership on required updates
- Assist with internal training related to federal contracting requirements

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, law, supply chain, or finance
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory and contractual language
- Experience working cross-functionally in a regulated environment
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Applicant must possess or be able to secure secret or higher DOD clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 - 9 years of demonstrated contract experience such as Contract Management, Compliance/Regulatory Experience
- Familiarity with government proposal and subcontract management processes
- Experience reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions in a defense or federal contracting environment
- Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other import/export regulations
