Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of DefenseTS/SCI clearance required at time of hire. The selected candidate must be able to obtaina Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

As aMissile Tracking SystemsEngineer for theUS Space ForceSpaceDevelopmentAgency(SDA)Ground,ManagementandIntegration (GMI)program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deployingstate-of-the-artground operational systemsfor the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA).You will be part of an elite teamproviding the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.

Key Responsibilities:

    Systems engineeringthat includesdecomposing requirements intomodeling of the trafficdataflow froma satellite constellation to the ground network
    Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and satelliteservices totrack missiles
    Analysisofmissiletracking datatovalidatethetrafficmodel

Technical Skills Required:

    Minimum of15+years of recentmodeling of communication data, preferably using satellite constellations and ground networks
    Minimum of10+years of recentSatelliteto Ground RF communicationprotocolexperience, end to end packetprioritization androuting,or trafficmodelingexperience

BonusSkillsYou Might Bring:

    Recent experience withprogramming languagessuch as MATLAB,Java, Python
    Recent experience with simulation and modeling analysis tools such asAnsysSTK
    Recent experience with System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture

Combined Salary Range

USD $183,371.00 - USD $203,428.00 /Yr.
