The successful candidate will have:
- Military systems design experience requiring compliance with specifications such as MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-810
- Interest in supporting the full range of product development from concept through final test
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting components, electrical assemblies, and test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
- Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.
- Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved.
- Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise; Analytical thinking skills; Problem-solving skills
Required Education: AssociatesDegree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required
Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in a relevant function
Travel: less than 25%
