Basic Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred or obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

Role and Position Objectives:

As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, youll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • A minimum of two years experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Experience with library management practices.
  • Experience with ECAD/PCB layoutdesign processes.

What sets you apart:

  • Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx),or Altium
  • Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
  • Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
  • In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
  • Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $56.73 - USD $60.84 /Hr.
