Position Summary

At Jet Aviation, we pride ourselves on providing first-class aviation services through talented people who share a passion for excellence. We're looking for a skilled Engineering Technician to join our Production Engineering team, where you'll play a key role in bringing ideas to life through advanced CNC programming, 3D modeling, and manufacturing support. In this role, you'll contribute to the creation of the world's most prestigious aircraft, collaborating with talented professionals, and ensuring we deliver on our commitment to excellence.

Your mission

Mastering techniques for CNC programming

  • Create CNC programs for waterjet cutting and bending processes using Bystronic Byjet and Bybend systems.
  • Create CNC programs for sheet metal and wood-shop machining with NX CAM.
  • Ensure seamless execution and compliance with engineering 3D/2D drawings.

Innovate through design and development

  • Craft complex mock-ups and tooling that meet shop and project-specific requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of critical manufacturing items to ensure project success.

Drive quality and continuous improvement

  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives, elevating the quality of deliverables and integrating lessons learned into future projects.
  • Ensure every project meets stringent quality, timeline, and cost expectations.

Collaborate to overcome challenges

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and teamwork.
  • Address risks items, identify project roadblocks and ensure projects progress in a fast-paced environment.

Keep deliverables accurate

  • Manage revisions, and amendments as needed to maintain project deliverables.

Your profile

  • Technical certificate (preferably in aviation or a related field) or at least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAE and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, Teamcenter).
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations is a plus: EASA and FAA regulations, particularly FAR 25, JAR 25, and CS 25.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (French and/or German are a plus).
