Unique Skills:

Experience in inventory services material handling, receiving, bin maintenance, put away, pulling orders, cycle counting.

Collaborate with other departments to align inventory processes and goals with overall company objectives.

Ability to meet training requirements to operate material handling equipment.

Able to lift and carry products weighing up to 25+ pounds.

Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, DOT, etc.) as well as Company policies, procedures, and controls.

Strong attention to detail for accuracy and compliance.

Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. College coursework desired. 3 years experience in stockroom/warehousing, material handling, shipping/receiving or transportation. 2 years Gulfstream experience preferred..

Position Purpose:

Under general supervision, assist management with the operation of Stockrooms, Shipping/Receiving, Transportation and Warehouses to ensure all material received and shipped adhere to corporate quality standards. Assist with instruction of new personnel and the incorporation of new policies, procedures and safety regulations.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Process pick/delivery tickets by pulling and issuing parts to support Service Center, Spare Parts Sales, Back Shops, ASC and Distribution allocation.
  2. Utilize inventory management system (such as Corridor) to process basic functions of material handling.
  3. Transport material to and from destination and warehouse parts/material in compliance with the Material Handling Standards.
  4. Unload freight from delivery carriers and check incoming shipments for mishandling and damages. Note damages with carrier.
  5. Perform proper inspection, tagging and identification of all incoming material during receipt. This includes Technical data on all articles overhauled or repaired including 8130 Tags and GA307 Tags for non repairable/overhauled articles.
  6. Receive and inspect parts for damage. Verify information on data plates for match with information on serviceable parts tags and repair/overhaul documents to ensure that received materials match requested materials.
  7. Prepare parts/material according to FAA Regulations and company procedures for shipment to customers, vendors, repair facilities and Distribution Allocation.
  8. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles as required.

Additional Functions:
  1. Verify work orders for all incoming in-house manufactured parts to ensure each work record has been checked for accuracy by material handling standards and appropriate system updates are complete. .
  2. Assist in facility management and ensures proper care in handling and storage of all parts. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. .
  3. Instruct new or inexperienced personnel as required. Assist in the training of new employees in stockroom/warehouse procedures and operations as required. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and meet all training requirements.
  2. Ability to meet collateral duty inspection (CD Stamp) requirements.
  3. Excellent working knowledge of computerized inventory procedures to include experience in material services, inventory control or production control.
  4. Fully proficient in computerized inventory management system. Corridor experience preferred.
  5. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
  7. May require a DOT physical for Highway driving if applicable.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to prioritize tasks.
  9. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  10. Ability to operate fork truck and other material handling equipment.
  11. Ability to operate standard office equipment, personal computer, telephone, pager, fax & copier.
  12. Qualified to package hazardous material for shipment and movement, if applicable.
  13. Inspector qualified or possess Q, PQ or CD stamps, if applicable. Able to comply with FAA Regulations and Quality procedures on documentation.
  14. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
  15. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
